Frequently Asked Questions
What are Castle Quest and Restaurant Rookie?
They are the first projects in each track. Kids aged 8+ start with Castle Quest, and kids aged 11+ start with Restaurant Rookie, a LEGO robot waiter that shows how inputs like a colour sensor connect to outputs like motors.
Are classes online or offline?
Both. Your child can join live online classes from home or attend in person.
Is 8 too young to learn AI?
No. At 8, kids learn AI by building and testing: they see how a sensor or model recognises things, and what happens when it gets them wrong.
Does my child need coding experience?
No. Both tracks start with the basics. Kids who have tried Scratch or block coding will move a little faster.
Which track should my child join?
Ages 8 to 10 usually fit the 8+ track, and 11 to 14 fit the 11+ track. Open both curriculums to compare, or contact us and we'll help you choose.
Is the AI part safe for kids?
Yes. The LEGO Education Computer Science & AI tools save everything locally, with no login or sharing of student data.
Where can I see the full curriculum?
