One of the toughest choices to make in your child’s learning journey is whether or not to register your child for the Olympiad Exams. Once the decision is made, it is vital to consider the available options and choose the one that best suits your child. Here is a comprehensive guide about the different Olympiad Exams for Kids in India (according to data collected from the respective websites).
Science Olympiad Foundation
Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) is an educational organisation that aims to identify young geniuses and provide a competitive platform to hone their skills. SOF conducts the below list of Olympiads for students from Grades 1 to 12.
- SOF National Cyber Olympiad (NCO)
- SOF National Science Olympiad (NSO)
- SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)
- SOF International English Olympiad (IEO)
- SOF International Commerce Olympiad (ICO)
- SOF International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO)
- SOF International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO)
Registration for these Olympiads must be done only through your child’s school. CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabi are followed for setting the test papers.
English, Science, and Math have a second level for the students (from Grades 3 to 12) who qualify in the first level based on the cut-off mark announced by SOF.

SilverZone Foundation
SilverZone Foundation is a non-profit organisation that offers Olympiads in various disciplines to provide students with a challenging and stimulating learning experience. SilverZone conducts the below list of Olympiads:

- Little Star Olympiad (Nursery, LKG, UKG)
Registration for these Olympiads must be done only through your child’s school. The Olympiads are conducted for students from Nursery to Grade 12 based on the chosen Olympiad.
Top students from each school who score at least 75 percent in Level 1 will be qualified for Level 2. Level 3 exams are open to first-place finishers in Level 2 Olympiads from grades 6–12.

ASSET Talent Search
Ei ASSET Talent Search (Ei ATS) is a transformative journey that begins with an innovative challenge—presenting students with questions designed to be two levels above their current grade. Ei ATS is an advanced test that requires students to apply their conceptual understanding to answer thought-provoking questions.
Students from Grades 4 to 8 must attend all three subjects English, Math and Science. The top 15 percentile in any one of these subjects will qualify for the Second level. Based on the Level 2 scores, students are eligible to apply for several summer residential programmes and gifted online learning programmes.
The Ei ATS is a skill-based assessment. It is a no-preparation test which uncovers the level of academic giftedness in students. Registration for Ei ATS must be done through your child’s school only.

International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)
The IMO is the World Championship of Math. It is a global stage for exceptional high school students which has been running annually (since 1959) in a different country. Young minds from over 100 countries clash and collaborate as they solve mind-bending math problems.
